We love having you at cellar door – it’s one of the best ways to experience our range of wines right here where it all happens and you can do that almost any day of the year.
Yet there are some days when it gets even more special; a handful of times a year when we invite you to join us to explore, celebrate and share the Lowe Wine experience even more.
Wine Club Members: Bookings for events will open to Lowe Wine Club members in advance of going on public sale and a 20% discount applies to the ticket price of members and a guest.
East vs West - Mudgee does Iron Chef
Stephen Neale is one of our great regional food specialists. Brian Parera was one of the talents behind Ninja @ Tinja and has cooked traditional Japanese food in 5 star hotels around the world.
Put them together with a host of ingredients and a fussy audience - what will these chefs come up with and who will create the best dishes? Will tradition or creativity be the winner?
Will Lowie be able to find the right wines? Will there be tantrums beside the tepanyaki?

September Celebration Month
Date: All throughout September
September is Mudgee's "Celebration Month" where, as the name suggests, we celebrate all things Mudgee. We're keeping ourselves busy this month with Winemakers Tables, Mini Wine Schools, Twilight Tapas and weekend lunches. Write these event dates in your diary for September 2012:
Mini Wine Schools (5-6pm every Wednesday - $20)
A tutorial by our winemaker David Lowe on how to bluff your way through a wine tasting. He'll show you a bracket of white wines, a bracket of red wines....and he may give you a test, well hey, it is a school after all!

Winemakers Table (6.30pm for 7pm every Saturday evening - $88)

Winemaker's table
The Winemaker's Table is set down the middle of the winery and guests are expected to chip into the activities of the table – much as you would when dining in the home of a friend.
Wines are selected and explained by David - always with something new, something from the cellar and something extra special.
The plattered food for sharing is prepared by Kim Currie - rustic, seasonal and wherever possible from the Tinja property.
